Last year my step dad received an old ice cream tub full of expired 35mm Kodak Ektachrome Elite 100 from a friend. There was no indication of when it expired but apparently it had been stored in the fridge for a long time. My step dad doesn’t shoot that much any more so he gave it all to me to try out. There were over 20 rolls in the tub so I gave a few rolls away to people on Twitter. I only managed to shoot one roll last summer, the rest I’ve put in the freezer for this summer. The single roll I did shoot I put in my Leica M6 TTL and as I didn’t know how expired it was I decided to just shoot it at box speed and take my chances. Below are a couple of frames from the roll which I think turned out OK, I think box speed was the right choice.

Your Ektachrome shots turned out better than mine. I must have gotten some badly stored expired film from someone. It was all but completely faded.
Yeah they turned out alright, I was pretty lucky with it. I still have about 10 rolls left, I’m hoping for good weather this summer so I can shoot some more of it.
