Last weekend I me up with Cloudy Images for a spot of street photography in London, starting in Portobello Road, then heading into the West End. During a stop off in a pub near Covent Garden for a bit of liquid refreshment we bumped into some other photographers including Benjamin Nwaneampeh, who I’d met previously at LNDNWLK in May. As usual these days I was using my Leica M6 and Voigtlander 35mm loaded with Fomapan 400 film. This is the first time I’ve shot with Fomapan and if I was to sum it up in one word it would be “contrasty” and I really like it, especially for street photography. Fomapan is also pretty cheap compared to the likes of Kodak Tri-x and Ilford HP5 etc, it can be picked up for just over £3 a roll. I’m really happy with how some of these photos turned out and I think Fomapan is now going to be my go to film for street photography.
