In May it was my 10th Wedding Anniversary, so my wife and I went to New York for the weekend to celebrate. My wife had been before but it was my first time. As it was our anniversary it wasn’t really a photography trip, but of course I still brought a camera or two with me. Most of the photos I took on the trip were the usual touristy stuff, the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building etc. I did get a couple of hours to myself in the morning of our last day to just go out and shoot and try and do some slightly less touristy shots. I’m not sure whether or not I succeeded, but I have a few photos that I quite like. There are even some pictures shot on my phone. Most of the photos were shot with my Leica M6 TTL on Kodak Portra with a couple on Cinestill 800T.
It was a great trip, my wife and I had an awesome time. I’d really like to go back for a bit longer and try and take some better photos, that better represent New York.
